NaBloPoMo

I saw this NaBloPoMo thing on Jesse’s blog. I plan to join in the fun and embark on a mystical journey titled, “NOVEMBER: 30 Days of Whittlin’”– I plan to whittle something from random materials (soap, kiwi, wax, whatever I can find) to express my whim of that particular day. Ideas will [...]

A quick pick-me-up

Screw coffee. The best blues-buster for me at work is to image-google cute things. Today, I have already searched:
-“red panda”
-“panda dog”

My first time with Last.FM

So I finally buckled down and got Last.FM, an online music community coupled with a program that “scrobbles” what you listen to and puts your playlist information into their database so users can scope out your music taste, tag specific songs, recommend bands to friends and so forth. I still haven’t explored all the [...]

Epilogue: The SF MOMA Scavenger hunt

This past Saturday was the big day– the day of running amuck around San Francisco in attempt to win the inaugural SF MOMA scavenger hunt. One hundred weird clues led to one hundred random, bat-shit crazy objects that each of the selected 50 teams (out of 200) had to somehow get a hold of. [...]
